Words

More of February Photo A Day.

As far as the theme of words, this is what I think it's like to be a writer. To make sense of letters and words. To arrange them. To fit them where they don't belong. To squeeze them into a space. To eek them out in the dark when no one else is looking. To help them find their places.

I Read This Today...

...and I wanted to hug it.  If you could hug words.  Which I believe you can if you arrange them just right.

I love the sun
I love a house
I love a river
and a hill where I watch
and a song I heard
and a dream I made

Save the Words!

Thank you to my dear friend Krista for introducing me to the site Save The Words, where you can adopt words that have fallen out of use from the English language.

I just adopted the word: aquabib

n. water-drinker.

Let's use it in a sentence:

Sally Tutu was such an aquabib that she woke up one day to find her eyes swimming in her head.

Feel free to adopt a word and use it in a sentence in the comments!
